The book of James pulls no punches 🥊
Self-righteousness hoards: pride that won’t bow, plans without God, grudges we replay, control we won’t let go, and wealth we keep for ourselves.
But to return to our first love is to return to true righteousness. It starts with submission and humility, and shows up in how we live - generous with what God gives, patient in trials, faithful in prayer.

What a Word we heard 🙌 You can be in the Father’s house, but still miss the Father’s heart. Serving isn’t the same as surrender. It is surrender that leads us into right-standing with God. Seek the Kingdom, but also His righteousness.
